Terms of Service
These terms govern the relationship between CEMAS S.R.L. ("CEMAS", "we", "us") and the person or company using our services ("you", "the customer"). By requesting a quote, contracting a policy through us, or using any of our service channels (website, WhatsApp Business, email, forms), you accept these terms.
1. Who we are
CEMAS S.R.L. is an insurance brokerage incorporated in the Republic of Paraguay, authorized to act as an intermediary in insurance contracting with insurance companies. We work mainly with Royal Seguros S.A. and other insurers depending on the line of business and customer needs.

2. Services we provide
As an insurance brokerage we offer:
- Advice and quotation of insurance, mainly auto insurance.
- Intermediation in the issuance and renewal of policies with insurers.
- Support in coordinating vehicle inspections.
- Management and follow-up of claims with the insurer.
- Customer support throughout the policy term.
CEMAS does NOT issue policies. Issuance, underwriting, and payment of claims are the exclusive responsibility of the insurance company.
3. Quotes
- The quotes we send you are informative and non-binding until the insurer formally issues the policy.
- Premiums may change after vehicle inspection, risk evaluation, or regulatory changes.
- Quotes have a limited validity, typically between 15 and 30 days.
- The informal quote sent via WhatsApp or email may differ slightly from the insurer's official quote; in case of discrepancy the official signed quote prevails.
4. Customer information
To quote and issue a policy we need truthful and complete information. You commit to:
- Provide correct data about your identity, address, vehicle, and habitual driver.
- Inform any relevant change (address change, vehicle sale, habitual driver change) during the policy term.
- Deliver copies of required documents: ID card, vehicle registration, proof of address, driver's license, and others requested by the insurer.
False or incomplete information may lead to rejection of coverage by the insurer, without CEMAS being liable.
5. Costs
- CEMAS does not charge the end customer for intermediation services. Our compensation comes from commissions paid by the insurer.
- The customer pays the policy premium directly to the insurer, according to the agreed terms (cash, financed, or direct debit).
- In case of additional services outside standard intermediation, costs will be agreed in writing in advance.
6. Communications
- We communicate policy updates via WhatsApp, email, or phone.
- By starting a WhatsApp conversation with CEMAS you accept to receive operational messages related to your policy (expiration reminders, claims management, insurer communications).
- We may send you messages with renewal proposals or additional products. You can reject these promotional messages at any time by replying "STOP" or writing to
lucianomarsal@cemas.com.py.
7. Limitation of liability
- CEMAS is liable for reasonable diligence in intermediation. It is not liable for:
- Insurer decisions regarding underwriting, renewal, or claim payment.
- Errors or omissions by the customer when providing information.
- Events outside our reasonable control, including technical failures of providers (Meta, Google, etc.).
- In no case does CEMAS' liability exceed the amount of commission actually received for the questioned transaction.
8. Privacy
The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy available at https://cemas.com.py/privacy.html.
9. Intellectual property
The contents of the website, informational materials, and CEMAS communications are owned by CEMAS or by the corresponding rights holders. You may not reproduce them without authorization.
10. Modifications
We may update these terms. We publish the current version at https://cemas.com.py/terms.html with the date of last update. If changes are substantial we communicate them through our usual channel.
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay. Any controversy between the parties shall be submitted to the ordinary courts of Asunción, Paraguay.
